For the first time ever in Weber County, a vote-by-mail will be conducted for this special bond election. All registered voters will receive a ballot through the mail and will have the option to mail or drop it off at one of six designated spots across Weber County. All mailed ballots must be post marked before June 25th.
Ballots will be mailed to all registered voters in the County beginning May 28, 2013. You will be mailed an envelope that contains the only official ballot you will receive for this Special Election. There will be no regular polling places on Election Day and no early voting.
If you do not receive your ballot then confirm your voter registration status at the website www.vote.utah.gov before calling the Weber County Elections office at (801)399-7411.
You may submit your voted ballot in any of the following ways:
- OFFICIAL BALLOT DROP-BOX: Beginning May 28, 2013, 6 voting centers will have official ballot drop-boxes in which you may deposit your voted ballot.
- ELECTION DAY VOTING: On June 25, 2013, you may deposit your voted ballot at any one of the 6 voting centers. You may alternately choose to surrender this ballot and vote on a voting machine from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE: All ballots submitted in this manner must be post-marked before June 25, 2013, Election Day. Postage will be paid by Weber County.
Remember, once your ballot is placed in a ballot drop-box or in the mail, it is considered cast and there is no way to retrieve it to make changes.
