Microfilm
The Main Library has a microfilm collection of the Ogden Standard-Examiner (and predecessor newspapers) from 1870 to the present, and the New York Times from 1851-2015. A microfilm reader is available to view and create digital scans from the images or to print copies.
UTAH DIGITAL NEWSPAPERS
The University of Utah provides access to more than 90 digitized historical editions of Utah newspapers. Utah Digital Newspapers features genealogical searching, allowing users to search by births, deaths, or marriages. Dates covered vary by newspaper but include the Deseret News (1850 - 1910), The Salt Lake Tribune (1871 - 1919), and The Davis County Clipper (1892 - 1988), and many others.

The site provides images of the front pages of over 600 major daily newspapers, with links to the sites. It is part of Newseum, which informs and educates on the first amendment and freedom of the press.
