Each site template includes an asset library of reusable design blocks; using these design blocks when adding new content to the site makes it easy to ensure the site maintains a unified and consistent visual style. This page includes an example of each design block included in the asset library and is not intended to be visible to the public or indexed by search engines; it's a handy visual reference for familiarizing yourself with the design blocks.

Adding new content to a site is as simple as selecting the design block which you think will work best for your content, adding it to a page, then replacing the placeholder content in the design block with your new content.

You can save almost anything on your site as a reusable asset, including any local changes to the template's design blocks you'd like to reuse. To do so, select any element and choose "Save as Asset" from the kebab menu (...), give the asset a name, then choose which local asset library you want to use; you'll create a new, local asset library when saving the first asset.

Advanced Workshops

A volunteer can take two advanced workshops once they have accrued enough volunteering hours: Audio Operator Workshop and Assistant Director Workshop. After a volunteer has spent twenty hours volunteering as a Studio Camera Operator, they may take the Audio Operator Workshop, which teaches volunteers how to operate the audio board in master control during a television production. Once a volunteer has worked for twenty hours as an audio operator, they are eligible to take the Assistant Director Workshop. This workshop instructs volunteers to become an Access TV director and prepares them to oversee a studio production. These workshops are voluntary and are based on expressed interest.
