OverDrive Users

The method used to access OverDrive will change on December 22nd. Starting on that date you will be required to sign in using your Weber County Library card number and library card PIN. The current method only requires a library card number. The new method will route OverDrive sign-in requests through the Library’s server, instead of through a Utah State Library interface. The result of this change is that your library account must be active and up-to-date to use OverDrive. Your access to OverDrive will be blocked if:

  1. You do not know your current Library card PIN.
  2. Your Library account has expired. Accounts expire automatically every two years and must be updated in person with identification and proof of address.
  3. You have fines and/or fees of over $4.00.

If you are an OverDrive user, please check the status of your Library account as soon as possible to avoid a disruption in service. To do this, click on "My Account" at the top of this page. If needed, reset your PIN and have a temporary one emailed to the email address on your library account. Account PINs can also be reset by visiting a Library location and presenting valid identification. Please call your nearest branch if you have any questions.
