Library Guidelines During COVID-19

Extra precautions are currently being taken to provide social distancing and to clean and sanitize public spaces.  Face coverings are required of all who enter.  Some service areas remain closed to the public, including children’s play areas and group seating.  Monitoring the number of people allowed in at one time, and limiting computer session length will take place  so vigorous sanitation procedures can be accommodated.  All returned Library materials will continue to be sanitized and set aside for a period of time before reshelving, as recommended by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

Curbside pickup of materials began May 1. This service continues to be available for anyone who would like to use it.  Check out online and call when you're ready.

Get quick access to a variety of reading materials with Book Bundles for ages 0-12 years old.  Call the library and let us know the reading level and topic you are interested in and we’ll do the rest.

Currently, Library meeting rooms are available for reservations, with some restrictions in place.   Group size may vary according to what's deemed appropriate by County or State health officials.  Please call for more information.

When community testing results for the coronavirus indicate it is safe to proceed, restrictions will gradually be loosened and users will be allowed guided access to a more robust range of Library services.  However, Library sponsored gatherings will be made available only as directed by local health officials.

Business as usual will be possible when a vaccine and other public health requirements, such as reliable, on-demand COVID-19 testing, are available.  Until then, Library employees are committed to following fact-based, science driven information and recommendations to make visits safe and enjoyable.
