The Regence BlueCross BlueShield Consumer Health Information Center is located at the Pleasant Valley Branch of the Weber County Library System. The branch is across the street from the Ogden Regional Medical Center, and is in close proximity to a significant number of specialty clinics and buildings that house medical professionals. It is a short drive from the McKay-Dee Hospital Center and Weber State University and is in an area of Weber County with a high concentration of senior retirement facilities and public schools (elementary, junior high, and senior high).
The purpose of the Consumer Health Information Center is to help individuals obtain, interpret, and understand basic health information and services and to develop the competence to use such information and services in ways that are health-enhancing. In addition to the collection, the Library has a medical librarian on staff.

- Magazines and journals
