This is a guide to free sources of legal information and assistance in Weber County and Northern Utah.

A comprehensive database of all federal and state laws, administrative regulations, court cases, and other primary law materials, plus legal encyclopedias and other materials. Utah resources include the Utah Code Annotated, Utah Court Rules Annotated, all reported appellate level Utah court decisions (1861 – present) and numerous other materials. Only available for in-library use at the Law Library (located on the second floor of the Main Library). For more information call 801-337-2645.

Public Pioneer Online Library
Public Pioneer provides access to carefully selected subscription databases and other resources that are not available on the "free" Internet.  Designed to meet the general research needs of Utah's residents, it includes articles from thousands of magazines, newspapers, and journals.   Public Pioneer was created by the Utah State  Library in cooperation with Utah's public libraries.

Special Collections

The Ava J. Cooper Special Collections Room at the Weber County Library preserves materials unique to Ogden, Weber County, the state of Utah, and Western America. Special emphasis materials include a history of the railroads and the role played by minorities and women in the settling of the West.
