5 Simple Ways to Raise a Reader

International Games Day

International Games Day @ your library is an American Library Association initiative to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games.

In the 21st century, libraries are about much more than books. Every November, the youth services team at the Weber County Library offers an afternoon of gaming programs for kids, teens, and families.  Check back for information about our 2015 program.

Sensory Story Hours

A story hour designed for children with special needs.  Learning and fun are encouraged with books and activities that integrate the five senses.  Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.  This program is held at 10:30 a.m. at the Southwest Branch on the first Saturday of the month.  For more information, please call (801) 337-2639.
